The product problem.
Temporary hiring depends on more than a job title. Employers need to find people with relevant skills, availability and a suitable location, while workers need a clear way to present their experience and find work that fits their circumstances.
We handled product design, full-stack development and launch for KageSolutions. Branding was handled separately, and we provide occasional support as needs arise.
Engineering challenges.
- Giving workers and employers distinct, understandable routes into the platform
- Making opportunities discoverable across industries, locations and online or onsite work
- Connecting worker profiles, job requirements and direct communication
The product approach.
We delivered the platform from product design through frontend and backend development to deployment. The worker journey brings together profiles, skills and availability; the employer journey connects staffing requirements, candidate review and direct communication. Job search provides a shared discovery layer across the platform.
Platform capabilities
- Separate worker and employer registration journeys
- Worker profiles covering skills, experience and availability
- Job search by category, location, work mode and rate range
- Employer job posting and candidate review
- Direct communication between employers and candidates
How it fits together.
The platform connects worker profiles, employer accounts and job listings in one workflow. Visitors can explore public opportunities, with sign-in required for full job details. Separate worker and employer journeys keep the available actions relevant to each audience.
What the workflow enables.
KageSolutions has a live hiring platform delivered from design through launch. Workers can present their skills and availability, while employers can publish requirements, review candidates and make direct contact. We provide occasional support for the live platform.
A useful design lesson
A two-sided marketplace needs a clear first step for each audience. Distinct onboarding paths, useful discovery filters and understandable next actions make a complex hiring workflow easier to navigate.
