Why I wrote this book
Building software is enjoyable. Finding out whether it is useful is a different kind of work.
It’s easy to keep adding features before asking whether anyone needs the product. Writing code feels like progress. Talking to a potential customer can feel easier to leave until tomorrow.
Through eezpal Studio, I work on products including Timether, Contracy, and SocioQueue. This book brings the product questions alongside the engineering: who it helps, what it must do, and why someone would pay for it.
I’ve been writing it since August 2025. The aim is a practical companion for your first SaaS, from an idea in a notebook to a paid pilot and the next decision.
