To upload files to your web server, you can use any FTP program available in the market. However we suggest FileZilla for Windows and Cyberduck for MacOS. Both programs were tested with our network and performing perfectly.
To use FileZilla or any other similar FTP program, a user account for FTP must be created. You can use public FTP but we do not suggest using Public FTP. To add a FTP account, follow these steps.
Login to your cPanel account.
On the ‘Files’ section, click on the ‘FTP accounts’ icon.
Fill in the required information. Username should be given inorder to identify the user who is logging in. Also directory should be properly given beforehand. Only the given directory is accessible using the particular account.
There are few ‘Special’ FTP accounts given. These can be used without prior configuration.
